Temporary wall decals from Surface Graphics are very easy to apply and remove: no tools, no mess, no drying time (much more convenient than wallpaper or paint).

It’s so easy that you can change the look of your place as often as you want (every year, every season, month, day….) just follow your mood.

Wall decals really give a unique look to your space! You can configure many of the decals in anyway that you like, each design can be unique to your home or office.


How is a wall decal made?

Working from our Philadelphia based workshop, our decals are made of an ultra thin, high quality vinyl which is ideal for interior surfaces. Each decal is cut by a machine to the exact design and hand finished and packaged when you place your order.


Can I use a wall decal for my car or exterior surface?

Yes and no. Yes you can use it on your car or outside but the vinyl is sensitive to the ultra violet rays and dust. The life of the decal may be shorter when used outside.


Where can I mount my decal?

You can mount your decal on virtually any flat surface: a wall, a ceiling, a window, a mirror, a piece of furniture… you are only limited by your imagination. (Look the Decal Gallery for some inspiration). When considering your surface, remember that the less porous the surface the more effort it will take to remove your decal later.


What materials will I need to mount my decal?

The most important tool is the squeegee, and it’s INCLUDED in our package.

In some cases you will need scissors to cut the transfer sheet in order to place the design elements in the right position (for products which are composed by many pieces).

You can also use masking tape to test positioning of your decal.


Application tips:

Take time to mount your decal, once it’s on your surface it’s there to last. A few ways to ensure success:

•    Read and follow the instructions carefully
•    Use a measuring tape and a level to ensure your decal is positioned correctly
•    Use masking tape to position prior to mounting and preview the final look


How do I remove my decal? Will it leave marks or residue on the surface after removal?

Surface Graphic’s decals should not leave any residue on your surface. Simply peel the vinyl off when you are ready for a change, make it easier by warming the decal with a hair dryer for a few seconds (set on low heat) to warm the decal, this releases the adhesive and makes it even easier to peel off. Wall decals should not leave marks on, or damage, your surface; however with more fragile surfaces it is important to remove your decal with care.  As all surfaces are different we can not guarantee that there will be no paint flecks removed with the decal, some touch up may be required. Use your judgment and be careful when removing any wall decal.

Surface Graphics decals are not removable from paper or wallpaper.


How long will my decal last?

We use premium vinyl which will last indoors for up to three years, however it is best to remove your decal within two years.
